HISTORY AND ORIGINS OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM

The BBH Family Medicine Residency Program is located in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, Philippines. The Department of Family Medicine, the first clinical training department, will be established in June 01, 2024.

Our program aims to be the best and most effective program in the Northern Mindanao Area in developing superb family physicians for Primary Care Practice and prepare them for Medical Missions. We offer training in all aspects of family medicine including but not limited to office procedures, community outreach, and preventive medicine.

The BBH Family Medicine Practice, the BBH Comprehensive Family Healthcare Clinic, is a model office that provides a setting that fosters educational excellence, provides research opportunities, and exposes residents to ambulatory office operations. Our faculty is a group of highly trained, dedicated, and enthusiastic teachers who are effective in motivating their learners. They are involved in regular scholarly activities and are committed to maintaining excellence in education.
